On May 3rd James Comey confirms that the Trump administration has not influenced the FBI or any FBI investigation negatively, and the WH is allowed to ask the FBI to direct investigation efforts elsewhere without breaking the law. This testimony refutes the New York Times story referring to a memo written in February, unequivocally.
The Times should print a retraction to their story immediately. To not do so is a violation of journalistic ethics and integrity of the highest order. A simple Google search with turn up other instances in which James Comey and others have said that there was no undue influence by the Trump administration on any investigation and there is no evidence of collusion with the Russian government.
Such accusations of a sitting president with direct evidence and the existence of this testimony would qualify as ‘fake news’ by any description. It;s small wonder why the Trump administration considers the mainstream media as his enemies and the enemies of the American people.
