Everyone is calling for gun control in light of the Las Vegas Strip shooting.
Supposedly, an elderly accountant with no history of violence, mental infirmity or experience with guns in any way, and no motive to do so, was able to plan and carry out a military attack with the skills of Navy Seal.
Now this mysterious woman will now come back to the US and paint a false picture of him as a crazy, violent, wife beater to sell it to us. More dumbass people will gobble it up, and buy into some idiotic idea that restricting our ability to defend ourselves will somehow make us safer. That giving up and restricting both the presence and availability of guns will magically improve life in these United States. That if only we turn over our weapons, we will all live in a safe utopia.
It won’t and it will make us more vulnerable to the evils of this world. Big Government. Terrorists. Criminals. The enemies within and without.
The shooter was probably being extorted and exploited– same as that’s been done throughout history to turn someone against their own nation. I know a grifter when I see one.
When an enemy nation, whether its Russia, or Iran, or Nazi Germany, looks to turn people against our nation, they look for people with character flaws and weaknesses. They find them out, seek ways to use them against their target, and then turn them against themselves and their own interests.
They hunt straggling sheep, much like a wolf does.
In this case, the Las Vegas shooter may have had weaknesses for gambling and probably women. They get someone close to him, then get him invovled in debt, extortion and blackmail, and drive him either to be complicit and end up being the patsy, or toward being a traitor to the nation.
It’s been done many times before, from Benedict Arnold to Aldrich Ames, most of the time to turn people into spies. It might be being used now to turn people into terrorists and murderers. It is not beyond reason to consider that possibility.
We are being conquered by a 5th column effort. We must be vigilant against this sort of attack, and not instead blame guns.
